The Illusion of Height

A high waistline, such as an empire waist, helps to give the illusion of height while slimming the figure. Drawing the eye up and down the garment such as design embellishment or detail around the neckline and hemline creates the illusion of you looking taller.

Creating Voluptuousness

If you are slender, lace or satin fabrics and design detail such as draping, gathers or accentuation in the style pattern cut add curves in all the right places. Styles which enhance the slender figure are Sheath, Ball gown, Fishtail Mermaid designs.

Slenderness

To create slimness, Empire lines, Princess style gown or an A-line designs are ever girl’s best friend in creating the illusion of dropping a few sizes.

Full Figured Hips

A flared or A-line skirt is femininely flattering. Bodice detail or embroidery or beading embellishment creates the illusion of height drawing the eye upwards.
